CS:GO Source 2 was originally leaked on March 1st following the latest NVIDIA drivers in which it added support for “csgos2.exe” and “cs2.exe” and a game profile called “Counter-strike 2” to the NVIDIA Control Panel.
Since then there have been a lot more leaks to verify the validity of the leaks, including SteamDB showing the “SteamDB Unknown App 2279721” as dlc for CS:GO and then today the dev’s have been updating the developer test build a lot! One of the biggest updates on the SteamDB history for CS:GO is the update shown below adding the “cs2.exe“.
Even today (March 14th, 2023) there was a developer spotted playing a future version of the game 1.38.7.0 when the current public version is 1.38.5.5 and they keep updating the developer branch of the game almost hourly at this point.
